We know how this one will end: either Kate gets revenge or fails and still dies. Hopefully, Kate is different enough from Huntress that it doesn’t feel like deja vu. The stoic assassin character bent on revenge seems to be a role Winstead gravitates toward. Kate as a character is definitely similar to one of Winstead’s previous roles: Huntress from Birds of Prey (2020).
